AML/CTF Compliance Programme

ELRC TRADING maintains a comprehensive AML/CTF programme in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth).

Our Programme Includes

  • Know Your Business (KYB): All clients must complete comprehensive KYB verification before account activation, including ASIC extracts, director identification, and UBO declarations.
  • Sanctions Screening: All counterparties are screened through ComplyAdvantage for sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and adverse media.
  • Transaction Monitoring: Ongoing monitoring of all transactions for suspicious activity, with automated alerts and manual review processes.
  • Record Keeping: Comprehensive transaction records maintained in accordance with AUSTRAC reporting and record-keeping obligations.

Regulatory Obligations

  • Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs): Submitted to AUSTRAC where required.
  • Threshold Transaction Reports (TTRs): Filed for transactions meeting prescribed thresholds.
  • International Funds Transfer Instructions (IFTIs): Reported as required under the AML/CTF Act.
  • Staff Training: All staff receive regular AML/CTF training and are assessed on their understanding of compliance obligations.
  • Independent Audits: Regular independent reviews of our AML/CTF programme effectiveness.

Client Eligibility

ELRC TRADING exclusively serves Australian registered businesses (legal entities). We do not provide services to retail individual clients.

Restricted Jurisdictions

We do not provide services to entities or individuals in jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions by Australia, the United Nations, or OFAC.
